Dietrich-Mohr was born on June 20, 1924 in D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany<\/span><\/p>\n

Baccalaureate<\/span><\/p>\n

He studied at the Schools of Decorative Arts in Krefeld and Basel and at the School of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe where he learned modeling and direct carving on wood and stone. <\/span><\/p>\n

He arrived in Paris in 1951 where until 1953 he continued his studies\u00a0 <\/span>at the \u00ab\u00a0Academie de la Grande-Chaumi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb in Ossip Zadkine\u2019s studio.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1954, he found his first studio in the \u00ab\u00a0Cit\u00e9 Falgui\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb where he worked wood, stone, terracotta and his first metal sculptures as of 1959.<\/span><\/p>\n

He set up a second studio in the region Loir-et-Cher in 1978\u00a0 <\/span>where he executed many monumental sculptures.<\/span><\/p>\n

He received the \u00ab\u00a0Medal des Arts de Academie d\u2019Architecture de Paris\u00a0\u00bb in 2003 for the entirety of his work..<\/span><\/p>\n
